a comprehensive walkthrough

What to Expect:

Being newly diagnosed with cancer can be a very difficult experience. We are here to support and care for you during this journey. Part of that is reducing the unknown and providing our patients and their families with a walkthrough of what to expect in order to ease their anxieties.

We have put together this comprehensive walkthrough of the process for your convenience, including what we are and are not able to treat in the territory since radiation and inpatient chemotherapy are not yet accessible in the USVI.

More than just cancer

ONCOLOGY (CANCER DIAGNOSES)

We are an outpatient oncology clinic with an infusion center, in-house lab, highly-trained oncologists, and oncology nursing staff. We specialize in providing comprehensive care to oncology patients at every stage of their journey, whether newly diagnosed, receiving ongoing treatment, or in remission.

IRON-DEFICIENT ANEMIA AND OTHER HEMATOLOGICAL DISORDERS

We provide specialized IV treatments for patients dealing with iron-deficient anemia and various hematological disorders. Our expert team offers comprehensive care, ensuring regular monitoring of blood levels to improve your health and well-being. Your path to recovery begins here.

mental health resources

We currently offer in-house counselling & support groups by our Oncology Certified Social Worker, Lauren Myler. These services are offered both in our clinic or remotely, and are provided for patients and their families. Counselling and oncology social work are oftentimes covered by most insurance companies.

SICKLE CELL ANEMIA

We are dedicated to supporting our sickle cell anemia patients by offering specialized care that aims to prevent emergency room visits during crises. Our skilled team provides essential hydration and pain management to ensure your well-being, all while supporting our local hospitals. Your health and comfort are our primary focus.

infusion center (including rheumatology & neurology infusions)

Our clinic and expertise in intravenous medications are not limited to chemotherapy and oncology, but we also take referrals from outside practices that are unable to provide in-house infusions and provide that service for local patients.

DONATE TO CSVI

CSVI promotes awareness and raises funds for those battling cancer in the USVI. Patient grants provide assistance for medical and non-medical expenses associated with cancer. Unlike supporting national funds, these funds remain in our community to help our own.
