Our Services

ONCOLOGY DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT

St. Thomas & St. Croix Cancer Specialists is the top choice for cancer treatment in the Caribbean and the U.S. Virgin Islands for a reason: because we care for this community. Whether seeking answers, newly diagnosed, in remission or receiving treatment — our highly-trained oncologists, in-house lab and dedicated nursing staff are all here to keep you as comfortable as possible for as long as possible.

IRON-DEFICIENT ANEMIA AND OTHER HEMATOLOGICAL DISORDERS

We provide specialized IV treatments for patients dealing with iron-deficient anemia and various other hematological disorders. Our team offers comprehensive care that includes regular blood level monitoring to help simplify the process of maintaining your overall health.

MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT

We offer in-person and virtual counseling and support groups to anyone seeking help — patients as well as their families — as they navigate the complexities of cancer care. Our staff are all trained and certified in offering this specialized type of support.

SICKLE CELL ANEMIA

You shouldn’t have to visit the emergency room every time you face a crisis with your sickle cell anemia. Our skilled team supports ongoing patient comfort and well-being by providing essential hydration and pain management in partnership with local hospitals.

INTRAVENOUS MEDICATION SUPPORT

Our clinic and expertise in intravenous medications are not limited to chemotherapy and oncology. We also take referrals from outside practices — rheumatology and neurology included — that are unable to provide in-house infusions for local patients in need.

Our Providers and Nurses

Everyone deserves dignity, care and respect. While a cancer diagnosis can make these things feel far away, the dedicated team at our U.S. Virgin Islands care center never will. Our compassionate, board certified oncologists — Dr. Elizabeth DelGiacco and Dr. Erole McLean  — are backed by a team of skilled nurses, nurse practitioners, lab technicians and office staff. Together, we’re here to make your journey to better health as supportive and stress-free as possible — just the way we like it on the island.
